Compass Can screen to see if you are eligible for services and has an online application.

Unemployment Compensation Click on Area-Assistance for Individuals then click on
            unemployment compensation. You can file online.
            Remember to print out copies for your records.

PA Department of Public Welfare DPW is charged with numerous program areas
            (i.e. cash assistance, Food stamps, Medical Assistance, etc.) You can apply online.

US Government website (Click for citizens) The site has online information regarding
            government programs.

Allegheny County (offers various programs of support.) If you are unsure, email your question
            or call.

Medical Clinics This is a searchable gateway to many human services including clinics.

Prescription Drug Coverage This is a searchable gateway to many human services including
            prescription drugs.

CHIP-Children’s Health Unsurance Program Provides helath insurance to uninsured kids up to
            age 18, regardless of their parent’s income. Individuals can qualify, although there may
            be up to a 6-month waiting period. The cost for coverage is based on income and ranges
            from free to about $150 per month per child, and there are co-pays for some services.

Adult Basic Insurance adultBasic provides low cost healthcare coverage to PA’s uninsured adult
            population ages 19-64 who meet eligibility requirements. This has limited coverage and
            does not cover behavioral health services or prescription drugs. There is currently a
